PDFs in searches (FP2002)

Hi;

I know this isn't a FrontPage question per se, but I hope someone can help.

We're using IIS 4.0 and Microsoft Index Server. Our PDFs don't show in search results, which I'd like to have happen. I've checked the search page itself (lots of VBScript in there) and they aren't being specifically excluded, the index server console is no help, and there aren't any web settings for it in FP or IIS. I also looked in Acrobat and couldn't find anything implying "make this visible to web search engines."

Thanks but I'm going to let the topic drop. The solutions I managed to find all involved plug-ins and the like, something I'm unlikely to get approved. <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>
