    PDF to DOC Conversion

I have a two page PDF file that I need to move to WORD (2000) and save as a ".doc" file in order to edit. I tried "selecting" the text in Adobe Reader so that I could paste to the clipboard, but that doesn't work for me.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

Assuming the pdf is not locked, I expect you will need the full version of Acrobat, not just the reader.

I've recently got a copy of Acrobat Writer. There are various levels of security that the writer can apply to a file from nothing to complete print and copy disable. If a security password was set then even with Acrobat Writer I think you are stuck.

You can see the security settings on the pdf file by clicking on the option in the little right arrow button at the top of the vertical scroll bar, or via File|Document Info|Security.

I suspect you could have retyped the two pages by the time you've read all this.
