    Queries (A2kSp-3)

I am trying to access data from 2 different select queries: qryRentCalc and
qryAccountReceivable. I need to access the calculated field TotalRoom in both queries.to created
a new calculated field by taking Sum[TotalRoom} from qryRentCalc less Sum[TotalRoom] from
    qryAccountReceivable.

I've been in the state of mind you're in right now.... Many times!!! ...but I need a question from you?... or at the very least more details...
Is it possible for you to post the SQL for each query on here?
Is there a field to join the two recordsets by? ...Is there a common field... like Client ID or something?

    Trudi

Many thanks for your offer of assistance.

I think I have found a solutions that is workable. I created total queries that summed the TotalRoom for qryRentCalc and qryAccountsReceivablePaid. I then created a third query that contains the two summed totals and then creatred several calculated fields to get the final results needed.

The 2 queries do have link fields but the qryRentCalc returns many more records that qryAccountsReceivalve. In essence, qryAccountsReceivablePaid is a subset of the records contained in qryRentCalc: ie those records where the Accounts Receivable have been paid during the current report period.

Once again many thank for your offer of assistance.

    Tom
