    The 'M' word (Macintosh)

    Hello Woody & Loungers,

I'm a newby . . . please excuse my liberty in posting a comment of questionable etiquette:

I appreciate your windows advise greatly. I use both windows and
Macintosh machines. I must admit however, I find the windows world a
bit comical (as do you), but thank goodness I also have a G3 I-MAC from
Apple. Otherwise I might have to take windows a lot more seriously (God forbid).

Sorry for the slightly skewed topic, but I needed to express my joy in the fact that there exists diversity.
I get a lot of work done on my Mac while the world blows fuses over windows' updates and bullying techniques.
I also own a copy of Linux. Diversity is good!

Keep up the good window's sleuthing and telling.

    Sincerely,

    Randall

    Randall,

Yeah, diversity is good, but how do you get any work done by computing on a Big Mac hamburger? <img src=/S/munch.gif border=0 alt=munch width=19 height=17>

    BTW, I think this thread should be in the scuttlebutt area. <img src=/S/notmyfault.gif border=0 alt=notmyfault width=15 height=15> <img src=/S/scratch.gif border=0 alt=scratch width=25 height=29>

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
    Today it is called golf!
