    Margin (2002 SP2)

    I have a question.

I want to take a screen shot of default Word 2002 screen. I don't want the margin lines (the faint lines that show up at the corners of the document to show where the margins are). Is there a way to suppress it?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

By 'margin lines' are you referring to the text boundaries? If so, they can be switched off via Tools|Options|View and, under 'Print and web layout options', unchecking the "Text boundaries" box.

If, on the other hand, you're using 'pagelayout' view and you're trying to hide the page edges, you could try increasing the page magnification and/or changing to 'normal' view.

    Cheers

    Thanks.

So there is no way to hid the page edges in the print layout view?

    Thanks.

Yes. I think you misread macropod's reply. If you increase the magnification level (the zoom level) on the standard toolbar, you can hide the edge of the page.
