Lock Cells or Row in macro (Excel 2000)

    Hello Loungers.

I would like to lock and protect a range of cells or an entire row after a user leaves the row. I have figured out how to unprotect and protect the sheet, but how to lock a cell or range of cells that must be unlocked before user entry?

    Thanks for your help.

    WorkSheets("name").Unprotect
    Rows("2").Locked = True

    etc.
