    inputbox on report

I created a report with several inputboxes to accomodate for variable text. If I preview the report, I am prompted to "fill-in" the boxes, however, when I proceed to print the report, I am prompted to "re-enter" all of the inputbox text. Is there a way to avoid this dual entry (other than the obvious of not previewing the report)?

    Re: inputbox on report

You can create an unbound form (not based on a data source) with several unbound text boxes for inputting data. Be sure to provide a name for each text box through the properties for the text box. For this example, say the form's name is frmInput and the named textbox is ReportName. On your report you can add an unbound textbox that has as its data source: [Forms]![frmInput]![ReportName]

Your report will look at the textbox named ReportName on the frmInput form to fill in the data.
