    Green Error Indicators (Excel2002)

Have a sheet that displays several of these little green triangle error indicators in various cells. I KNOW that these cells are right (but understand why Excel put's the indicators there: the content does seem unlogical). FYI, the location of these 'unlogical' cells might change depending on user input.

I want to disable display of these indicators in this sheet/WB. Any way I can do that? If I do the obvious: use the checkbox in Tools/Options, the display goes off in ALL my WB's (so this seems to be a global EXCEL-wide setting) I do certainly NOT want that...

Can it be done e.g. using VBA for each sheet?

    Thanks,

    Erik Jan

ErrorCheckingOptions is a property of the Application object, not of individual workbooks or worksheets. I experimented with turning it on and off in the Activate/Deactivate events of a worksheet, but got inconsistent results.

If you right click the error indicator, do you get an option to ignore the error?

If you hover the mouse over the error indicatior do you get a screen tip explaining the error?

What happens if you click (or double-click) on the error indicator?
