Access 97 to Access XP (Access 97 to XP)

A colleague made an Access-97 application. Is it possible to convert this to /use this on Access XP?

    Yes of course it is.
If you try to open the DB from 2000 or XP, you will be prompted for a conversion, but.

Some of the modules and code may have to be manually tweaked to make use of the DAO library.
There's plenty of help on this conversion procedure.

There are some things in 97 that don't work properly in XP, so you will need to go through the application and test it carefully after the conversion. I'm currently in the process of doing this with a very large Access front end. <img src=/S/crazy.gif border=0 alt=crazy width=15 height=15>
