    Registry editors and virus recovery

I don't know about the rest of you, but so far today I've gotten at least 300 messages infected with the current Swen worm.

I was looking at the description at Symantec and noticed that the virus disables use of regedit.

I was wondering if having a 2nd registry editor, I guess from a 3rd party, could bypass such mischief.

If so, what registry editors are recommended?

    Howard,

I have been using RegEditX and find it quite good.

In conjunction with RegEditX, you might also want to look at a companion program: Registry Crawler
