Viewing multiple calendars in a single view (Outlook XP)

Is there a way in Outlook to see mutliple calendars together? For example, if I have an appointment in my calendar at 9.00 am and my supervisor has an appointment, can I see both appointments in the one view?

Hi Marie-Therese,

With Outlook XP there is a feature within the Calendar which does just what you want... if you are working with an Exchange Server!

With your Calendar open, click on the "Schedules..." button on the Standard Toolbar. This will open up a small "Group Schedules" window. Click on "New" and then type in a name for the group schedule you want to create. Your new Group schedule will then open and you just need to add in the names of the people who's calendars you would like to view.

The next time you want to see this group again, all you have to do is click on the "Schedules" button on the toolbar then double-click on the Group name you have created.

Hope this is what you are after.

Thanks for that.
Is there a way to view the combined calendars in a nice monthly calendar format?
The Schedule view is very small and a bit hard to see.

Not to the best of my knowledge Marie-Therese.

I haven't been able to find any way to change the view of the Group Schedule window . You can change the Zoom to a 50% (Week view), but all that does is shrink things down even further .

Hopefully someone else may have some other ideas about how to give yourself a Month-type view of two calendars together.

Thanks Barry. In this case, knowing that it can't be done is helpful. I appreciate your input very much.

There are tons of 3rd party add-ins that do this, but nothing in Outlook. Take a peek a slipstick.com.
