    Tab Pages (A2k)

I have a tab page control on a main form with a subform on each of the pages (3).
    Each subform is datasheet view.

I have set all tab stops to No, on all controls on the main form, so that the subforms have focus all of the time.
There are six fields in the subforms, and tabbing thru, when the last field is tabbed, the focus go's to the page tag instead of staying within the datasheet view subform.
There is not a Tab Stop property for each page, so how do I prevent the individual page from being within the tab stop range ?
This event only happens when no data is entered.
If data is enetered, the tab go's to the next line. (which it should)

Is there a reason to use a datasheet rather than a continuous form? Datasheets are harder to control and I don't know of any way to avoid this behavior with a datasheet.

    Hmmmmmmmmmm

There's a thought. Ive not implemented Continuous on a tab page before.
It gives me something to follow.

    Thanks

Did you try setting Tab Stop property of TAB CONTROL to No? I tested this with Tab Control with datasheet subform on each tab & it prevented focus moving to Page tab when tabbing from last field in datasheet subform. The focus will remain in last field of new record on datasheet form. Also need to set main form's Cycle property to Current Record or else when you tab from last field on subform you'll move to next record!

    Hi Mark, Thats it.

When I was selecting tab control with the mouse, only the individual page properties were obtainable ( I suppose it depends where you click ).
I selected the control from the Formatting menu which enables control over the "Whole" Tab Control, and found the tabbing procedures in the properties.

All I need to do now, is to set focus behind Load,Open events.

    Thanks again, you saved me a lot of work there. <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>
