    Hidden text (Word 2002)

I have an Editor who would like to print out a document with hidden text showing. This is easily accomplished and can be done. The problem we are having is that the person we are sending the hard copy of the document to will not be able to see that the hidden text is really "hidden." This would not be a problem if we could print the hidden text with the underlining dots. This shows in print preview, but not in the printed copy. Any ideas?

You could experiment with Find/Replace using Formatting. One of the underline styles has dots (though they are bigger and bolder than the ones Word uses as an on-screen tip that the text is hidden). The first time I tried this, it wouldn't work, so I tried searching for a different kind of formatting (e.g., Font name). After that, I could search for Hidden. Is Word just groggy this morning or is it a bug???

This was a great idea. The Editor is delighted
