    importing db (fox pro 7.0)

I need to import a fox pro data base into an excel spread sheet. I can get the tables to come up in a query ( the first group of tables) when I drill down to the data dirs, the query blows away. Does anybody know why this is happening ?

Have you tried to use from the menu "Data, Import External Data, Import Data" ?

Yes. It blows off after I see the tables i want. Do you think I need to make a new data source for each of the data files which represent a company ? Thanks for the response

How complex is your schema? We open DBF files in Excel all the time without any problems, but they are flat and don't use FPT fields. Perhaps if you can open the file directly in Excel you can save it in another format that you then can query.

No! Stop! I'm not an Excel person.
