    Printers disapear

We seem to be having a problem here. recently I have had a number of users who, after printing from various programs, will suddenly receive a print error message. When you then open the printer folder ALL PRINTER OBJECTS ARE GONE. only the "add printer" icon remains. After a reboot, the printers reappear. We don't know what we introduced to the system that is causing this. Any Ideas??
    Thanks,

    Networked printers?
    If so,
    Network type/protocols?
    Any local printers getting lost?
    Running any AV software?
Installed anything new (since 'recently' began!)?

This is a mixed Novell/NT environment. This is occuring with both network and local printers (mostly local). We run TCP/IP protocol. We also run Norton AV Corporate 7.2
The only new install is Infoconnect, but not on all computers.

I have seen this problem before, but, always associated with Spool32 errors/aborts.

    See <A target="_blank" HREF=http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q191/9/49.ASP>How to Troubleshoot Spool32 Error Messages</A>
