    Lost Messages (2002)

I regularly move email messages of general interest into a folder named "2003 Messages" that resides at the top level of the folder structure. What happens to email messages that are accidently dropped into the Outlook Today folder?

They are still there and can be viewed and moved by running Advanced Find (Ctrl-Shift-F) for all messages in Outlook Today or any single Personal Folder, leave the "Search for the word(s)" field blank, click on Browse and UNcheck search for subfolders, sort all the messages by folder if more than one folder is found, and move all messages from "Top of Information Store"* or "Top of Personal Folders"* back to the desired folder.

*will depend on if Outlook Today is on a server or a PST

    Thanks, John. That worked perfectly.
