date changing on recurrent appts (2002)

I keep my outlook file on a laptop and open it across the networks from two different desktops (essentially identical Dell, with all versions the same) to work on it. On one of the desktops, it will open the recurrnet appointments like a birthday that is set as a one day event and shows on the first computer as one day, and transform it into a 24 hour event occurring form 11 pm one day to 11 pm the next, covering two days. I obviously have SOME setting different that does this. Anybody know what?

Time zone differences can do this.

May be it. While all three computers are in the same time zone amd naturally set to the same actual time, one desktop was set as EST while the laptop was set as EDT. Thanks
