Check if report is loaded (Access 2000)

Is the a way to check if a report is completely populated from a query? Since the query is somewhat complex and I have my own rounding, it takes about a fair bit of time to get completely populate (longer then nessasary)

    Thanks

Essentially a report is the end of a nest of queries unless the report itself it doing some tabulations (ie totals, count etc...) My suggestion is you treat the cause which is your nest of queries and the best way to do so is to make sure that no more than two field calculations are done per query that utilize the functions of more than 3 new fields. Also make sure that the computational fields remain to the far right of other fields since Access implicitly works from left to right. I hope this helps.

A report is never really fully populated until it is printed. Depending on what you're trying to do, you might be better advised to populate a temporary table instead and then use that table as the basis for your report.
