Frontpage thinks everyone is in N Hemisphere! (2002 10.4128.4219)
Under WinXP, When Frontpage inserts a time (Insert>Date and Time) it corrects that time for daylight saving.
While it recognises that DST is enabled and (I assume) it gets the transition dates right, Unfortunately it takes no notice whether DST is in effect or not!
In Sydney Australia we start saving in Late October and stop saving in Late March.
With the local time zone set to Sydney, today (26th Sep 09:05) FrontPage displays the time as 10:05 +11:00. (WRONG)
With the local time zone set to Brisbane (NO DST) , today (26th Sep 09:06) FrontPage displays the time as 09:06 +11:00. (CORRECT)
With the local time zone set to Vladivostok (start saving in Late March and stop saving in Late October) , today (26th Sep 10:07) FrontPage displays the time as 10:07 +11:00. (CORRECT)
Does the Frontpage team think everyone is in the Northern Hemisphere?
(BTW: The MS Word team get it right. I think they use Windows time directly.)
