Microsoft Status Bar Control Version 6.0 (97 SR2)

    Hi All... <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

Does anyone have a link or document with instructions on how to use this ActiveX control?
I haven't used it until now and I can't find any information on it...

I'm not even sure if this is the best thing to use or not... I want to show progress while my code executes... (It's doing some time consuming work...)
This is the first time I've wanted the user to see where I am in the process...

    Any help would be appreciated...

Documentation for VB6 controls is in the MSDN library. Using the StatusBar Control gives an overview; StatusBar Control is the reference manual.

But you may also or instead want the progress bar: Using the ProgressBar Control and ProgressBar Control.

Note: a progress bar is only useful if you have some way of measuring the progress of your code.

    Thanks again Hans! <img src=/S/thankyou.gif border=0 alt=thankyou width=40 height=15>
I tried finding info on MSDN, but I must admit that I am "challenged" when it comes to searching that site... <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>
