Leading 0s (2000)

I have a report in Access that I am using Office links to analyze it in Excel. When I bring the report into Excel, two number fields (that are defined as text) lose there leading 0s. Is there some way to bring over the fields the way they look in the Access Report?

I had a similar problem with data I imported into Access from a big external database, via Excel. The only solution I found was to format the appropriate field(s) to display the leading zeros. Of course, my data was moving in the opposite direction. Not sure how to approach your situation....

I don't think so. Excel is very persistent in trying to interpret data as numbers if possible. So you will have to apply the appropriate format in Excel.
