How to run an automatic update for windows in Win9

    Hello,

I have a little problem here. How can I run automatic updates in Windows 98SE? I can easily configure it in Windows XP. Can someone help me!

Maybe someone will correct me, but I don't think you can run the WUPDMGR.EXE (Windows Update) automatically and frankly I wouldn't want to, but that's your business. I guess you could use a task scheduling tool to run the program, but you'd still have to interact with the MS site when IE runs. Corrections anyone?

This feature was added with Windows XP SP1 and is not available with earlier operating systems.
