    Sending Shortcut to database (2000)

I am trying to send a shortcut to a database via email. When I try to attach the shortcut, it attaches the whole database. Does anyone know how to send a shortcut and not the database..... the people I am sending the shortcut to are on the same server. Theyare not computer literate. I am trying to make this as easy as possible.

I don't know how to send a shortcut, but would sending a hyperlink to the database work?

Try right clicking on the shortcut located on your desktop and select send to and then click on Email recipient.

    Okay... Now that's cool... <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
Why is it that the simplest things can be the hardest to find at times??
    I tried "everything" ... Well I guess not... <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>

I can't answer for Linda... but for me... Thanks Judy!

Thank you so much - worked perfectly. I even asked our helpdesk for Lotus Notes and they didn't have a clue.
