    Remembering Folder Settings (XP Home)

There have been posts in the past referring to increasing the number of folder settings Windows can remember. I think the default is 400.

Several references recommend a change to:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsShellNoRo am

to add a key: BagMRU Size=dword:00001388

    (This provides 5000 file settings)

However, I noted that TweakUI claims to make this change. However, the key it adds is:

Bag MRU Size (Note space between 'Bag' and 'MRU')

    Which is correct?

A quick Google shows that there is an error in TweakUI. The correct name of the registry value is 'BagMRU Size', not 'Bag MRU Size'.

    Chris--

Take a look at this thread and the links and registry key info as well as Post 252256 and the thread in flat mode. The info may help.
