    Convert 2000 to 97 (2000)

I am trying to convert a 2000 database to 97. When I bring the converted database up in 97, I get an error that highlights "CurrentProject" in the VBA for the switchboard. I have a switchboard in this database. Does anyone know why I am getting the error and how I can handle it?

    Re: Convert 2000 to 97 (2000)

CurrentProject is new in Access 2000 VBA, it is not available in Access 97 VBA; moreover, the Access 2000 switchboard code uses ADO, while Access 97 is geared towards DAO. You must either delete the Switchboard form and import an existing Switchboard created in Access 97 into the converted database, or do the following in Access 97:

    - Delete the Switchboard form
    - Rename the Switchboard Items table to something else.
    - Create a new switchboard (you can leave it empty). This will create both an Access 97 Switchboard form and a new Switchboard Items table.
    - Delete the new Switchboard Items table.
    - Rename the old one back to Switchboard Items.
