    (E-mail) appended to addressee name

When emailing from Outlook 2000 to addressees in my Contact List, the displayed text in the "To" field has a " (E-mail)" appended. For instance, Joe Smith will display as "Joe Smith (E-mail)". I'd like to change this appendage to default to blank for email, while leaving the other defaults as they are (e.g. it is helpful to have " (Business Fax)" appended if that is the mode of delivery).

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'll be very interested in responses, as the only way I found to do this was to export the contacts to a PAB and then edit every darned one.

you need a hacked version of the contab32.dll. look at slipstick.com for a copy of a hacked version or do it yourself.
