    Page file usage monitor

I've made available a page file usage monitor.

I've always been happy enough with the page file usage history that you can get from Task Manager. Does your utility give significant advantages over this?

The Task Manager does not provide the usage information.

Now is there a utility that can tell you what process is writing to your Hard drive?

I some times see my hard drive work so hard, I am scared it might have an attack. It would be nice to figure out what process is accessing your hard drive, maybe read maybe write, maybe both.

I am also thinking this maybe a good anti-virus project, some viruses scan your HD for "juicy" stuff... so you can stop it via this applet.

Ayup, I've seen programs that will monitor such things, but I do not use them as they cause lots of overhead.
Does not Norton Utilities or Sysem Works include such things?

I could have written the page file thingee to constantly monitor things, but did not feel that was needed.

DiskMon and FileMon from SysInternals are free utilities that monitor hard disk activity and file system activity, respectively. You'll have to play with their settings not to be drowned in information.

They have several other excellent utilities (RegMon, for example).
