Change scale of a graph (2000)

Hello All,

Attached is a file that contains a chart that I am trying to adjust. The quarterly data only goes as high as lets say 200, then on the same chart i display the annual total for the 4 quarters. however, the jump that the bars make is too drastic. i need a way to adjust the scale of the graph, to get rid of the dead space aove the Quarterly data. i tried the scale using LOG and it is too much of a jump from 100 to 1000. if i could eliminate graphing from 250-500 lets say i think id be good. i would like my scale to have its y axis lok like this , 0 200, 500, 800. Any ideas on how to set this up? thanks a lot guys.

Did you use the addin suggested?

It sounds like you just put in the value (0) for all of them. You must put the LABELS you want. You can do it manually by selecting each datalabel and editing it, by Rob's addin makes it so much easier to add labels that are NOT the x or y-values.

ok this is exactly what i need BUT i cant seem to get any values for my marker values. the step that says

"Double click on the Markers series, click on the Patterns tab, and change the markers to a black cross, size 6. Using Rob Bovey's Chart Labeler (a free addin from http://www.appspro.com), I added the labels in H2:H13 to the Markers series along the Y axis. I selected the Left position option; they didn't come out quite right, but 'll fix that in a minute.

How do i add the labels from my H2:H13 to the markers series along the y axis? someone pleas ehelp all in get is "0"' for each value. If i could set those to my H column i'd be set, thanks alot.

Tools - xy chart labels - add chart labels
Choose the data series
Choose the range of the values you want as labels
choose left
