    Removing Office XP SP2 (XP SP2)

    Hi,

    The general question is is there a utility or setup command option to automatically (eg bat file, wizard) to remove Office XP (SP2; Select/corporate version)?

    The scenario is that we are developing transforms (to be used with Marimba (software distribution software) to install Office XP. But there may be users who will then want a different flavor of Office XP from what there were initially given (eg Professional vs Standard, Professional vs Standard (kept Access from their previous version of Office (97 typically)).

    Now from my limited experimentation a Office XP setup won't install over an existing Office XP (am I correct?).

    Therefore, the question of an automated way to remove Office XP.
