Viewing more than one column in a field (97, 200)

I have created a combo box for a table field, where the column count is 3, the bound column is 1 (a number - the other 2 are text), and the column widths are 0",1",1". When I select the bound column, column 1 in the table, only the text value of column 2 shows. If I put the column width of column 2 at 0", then the text value of column 3 shows. Is there a way I can get the text values of column 2 and 3 to show in column 1?

A combo box will show only the first column whose witdth is non-zero in the text box part; if you drop down the list part, all columns whose width is non-zero will be shown.

You could create a query that concatenates the second and third field and use that as row source of the combo box; you would need only two columns then (one hidden and one visible). Or you could use a list box instead of a combo box; of course, a list box takes up more space.

Thanks, Hans. Did the query thing. Worked like a charm and was easy to do.
