    List Box (XP)

Trying to get rows in a list box to display in a different color depending on an attribute. Any ideas?

Unfortunately there is no facility to change row colours within a list box on criteria.

You can however duplicate the look of a list box by adding a colour into the table as an OLE object (insert BMP) using windows default paint program.
You would then create a query and design a form to look like a list box.
A list box's rowsource uses a table or a query, so this way it is doable.

    Heres a very rough example:
You would have to play with the form settings to get it how you want it.

The Access list box doesn't offer this feature. You would need advanced programming to accomplish it. I have never tried it myself. If you're interested, take a look at ListBoxEnhanced on Stephen Leban's website.
Alternatively, you can simulate the look of a list box with a continuous subform; since Access 2000, you can use conditional formatting.
