Preventing spellcheck on specified ranges (XP/2000)

Is there any way to specify that, when you click the spell check button (or do spell checking as you type), the spell checker only checks certain regions of the document and leaves other regions along?

    Thanks....

    Dan

    Hi Dan:
Select the text that you want NOT to be spellechecked & go to Tools/Language.../Set Language. Click the "Do not check spelling & grammer" checkbox. The easiest way to do this in a document is to develop a special style that has that attribute; i.e. you can set the Language property for a style (or styles) & then use that style whenever you wish text not to be spellchecked.
    Cheers,
