freezing windows (windows XP operationg system)

hello, I bought a new computer, but when i want to perform some task, either online or off line, the computer keeps freezing up, so I have to restart it. It happens a lot, and it is very annoying. Does anybody know what might be wrong. I have over 200 memory, 40 hard drive, G-force4 video card. thanks Nikol

This could be caused by many different things.
If this happened to me then I would immediately return it to the vendor and tell them that I was rejecting it because it was not fit for purpose.

If you really do have a computer with "only" "200 memory" and it's running Windows XP, I think that might be your problem. I don't know how "new" you are to this stuff, but can you post a little bit more specific stuff about that computer? It would help.

Yes more Info is defiantly needed, and as Doc said, if your running WinXp you need more then 200MB of SDRAM.
