    Same Format (Outlook 2002)

How would I make certain that an email message I have composed is received in the same format as I sent it? For example, if I prepare a message and list items numbered 1.

    3.

and then sign off, when the person replies and I see the format he received it in, it is often all run together in a single paragraph.

Because of the various portals and gateways mail passes through I don't think it can be guaranteed, but if you use plaintext format, about a 40 characters per line limit, and all spaces instead of tabs, there shouldn't be much disruption. Or, you can send the text as an attachment, or turn the text into a picture or an Adobe PDF, and send the picture as an attachment.
