    Task Pane (Word XP)

Does anyone down the Global command/macro used when clicking on "New from Existing Document - Choose document" I want to write a macro using the macro name to display a message, when users click on this option.

Or better still am I able to remove the function completely from the Task Pane

    thank you for any assistance

I don't see any way in VBA to edit Task Panes. I wonder whether the Office Resource Kit might have something on this, such as a registry policy?

Task Panes have limited customization options. See INFO: Customizing the Microsoft Office XP Task Pane.

I have not been able to find a command name for "New from Existing Document". Googling didn't yield anything useful either. Perhaps Microsoft hasn't gotten around to exposing this new feature in the Word object model?
