    Autocomplete (2000)

I just moved to Outlook 2000 from Outlook Express and can't find a way to turn on the autocomplete feature to address emails. Is it possible this feature is only in Outlook Express and not Outlook 2000, or am I missing something? Thanks! J

    Re: Autocomplete (2000)

AutoComplete is not available in Outlook 2000 (it is in Outlook 2002). But it does have Name Resolution. You need only type as many letters of an e-mail address as are necessary to distinguish it from others (at least three); Outlook will automatically fill in the entire address after a while, or when you select Tools | Check Names.

See OL2000: How to Use the Name Resolution Feature Instead of AutoComplete.

...or hit Ctrl-K, n'est-il pas aussi?

Mais oui, Ctrl+K is the keyboard shortcut for Tools | Check Names. And the Standard toolbar in the e-mail message form has a "Check Names" button.

    On a l'embarras du choix!
