    Menu Bars, etc (AXP)

    Hello All,
I would like to remove all menu bars from the UI in my project. Is there a good way to do this? I am already using the menubar function in code to show one menu or the other. However, there are times when I want the user only to use what is on the form.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Select Tools | Startup... and set a startup form (if you haven't done so already), and clear all check boxes.

Create a completely empty menu bar EmptyMenu. Include the instruction Application.MenuBar = "EmptyMenu" wherever you want to have no menus, for example in the On Load event of the startup form. To display the built-in menu bar, use Application.MenuBar = "". Of course, you can also create and use other menu bars.

    Thanks,
I knew it would be something easy! I was also playing around with the command bar functions.

    Thanks,
