    Hi Bruce,

Does the Import/Export feature do what you need. If you go to File > Import and Export, a wizard opens up. Click on Next and then select "Import Favorites" from the list and click on Next again. Under "Import from an Application", is AOL listed? If so, you could probably just follow the wizard prompts from there to bring your favourites into IE.

    Hope this helps.

For Internet Explorer, at least, "Favorites" are simply a set of .URL files (and/or folders containing .URL files), located in

    Cocuments and Settingsyour useridFavorites

I've no idea whether AOL implements the same mechanism, but if it does (in another folder, perhaps) you could try copying them to the above mentioned location... Carefully...

    Ita, esto, quidcumque...

The IE import wizard tells me that the AOL saved favorites - a .pfc file - is not a valid bookmark file. Do I need to save the AOL favs under another file extension?

Sorry! No idea, I'm afraid. If you can, it must be worth a try.

(The closest I have ever been to AOL is seeing a TV advertisement...)

This article makes it seem a little more difficult.
