Indirect Formula (97:SR2)
Is it possible to use an indirect function to obtain a range name from a closed file. NetRow being the range name.
For example cell B3 has the formula: =+'Eirectory_01FileName.xls'!NetRow
There are times that I need to copy the XL files to a different drive and directory; let's say Firectory_02 so the formula
would now read as: =+'Firectory_02FileName.xls'!NetRow
I have been playing with the indirect function to a cell containing the drive letter and directory name but have not had any success.
Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Re: Indirect Formula (97:SR2)
The INDIRECT worksheet function returns #REF if it refers to a closed workbook. That's the way it is...
Laurent Longre has created an excellent set of powerful worksheet functions. INDIRECT.EXT can handle closed workbooks. The free MoreFunc add-in can be downloaded from Excel add-ins.
(Thanks to <!profile=Aladin Akyurek>Aladin Akyurek<!/profile> for reminding me of MoreFunc, I had forgotten about it.)
