    Linking heading to footer (Word X for Mac)

    Hello,
    I'm creating a master schedule in Word which has several headings. I would like to insert whatever the current heading is into each page's footer. I suspect the answer has something to do with Field Codes but the Help didn't.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Use a particular style for your heading, for example Heading 1
    Use a STYLEREF field in the footer, for example { STYLEREF "Heading 1" }

    STYLEREF was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks, Stuart!
