    Task Manager (Outlook 2000)

My entire work revolves around projects assigned thru email. There is a steady stream of 'replies, forwards' on each email until it is closed. I'm trying to use task manager to organize these projects. I am able to save them to a task and have the full text in view (instead of as an attachment in the task) but when I try to torward my response to someone, no matter what I try, it always wants to forward as an attachment in that email. Is there anyway that I can forward an email that I have saved to a task from task manager so that the person who receives it doesn' t have it come to their Inbox as an attachment? Thanks!

In out-of-the-box Outlook, it appears that what you want can only be done with Task Assignment. You could write some code to send the Task Body as a message, or see if http://www.slipstick.com has anything.

(I don't know that there are any heavy duty Task users who frequent the Outlook Forum, certainly I'm very lightweight on Tasks; you might look into the Project Forum to see if anyone there integrates Tasks with Project.)
