    recording (PP2002)

    Morning,

Can anybody tell me if you are able to put voice onto a peresentation and then record your music over it without losing one or the other. I have tried by having an external mic with my stereo speakers each side, the remote balanced atop one of them for fading and pausing the music between slides and me leaning between the speakers to do the talkie bits, its not to bad but a bit to much echo. Besides which I think the neighbours have phoned the loony bin because I look like an acid head playing twister.

    Thanks

    Steve

    Re: recording (PP2002)

I would suggest recording your narration, then adding the background track separately using Insert/Movies and Sounds/Sound from File. Be aware that not all sound cards can play two sounds -- especially two sound files of the same type -- at the same time. So to be on the safe side, I'd use MP3 for the background track, because, IIRC, your narrations will be WAV.
