    Reviewers List (Word 2002)

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how names appear in the Reviewers list in word. If I activate the reviewing toolbar in Word and then click on show/reviewers there is a list of names there that I do not recognize. I was wondering how those names appeared there and how I can remove them. Thanks

    Re: Reviewers List (Word 2002)

This information is embedded in the document's metadata. From past experience I've noticed that DOT files in Word's start directory can populate this list as well. Pyne Consulting Group has a metadata remover that works quite well. http://www.payneconsulting.com/

I think my fly-out Reviewers list is context sensitive and reflects the authors who have made tracked changes to the active document. Do you see the same (odd) list all the time?
