    Missing help file

Hi, When i open Access97 i get an error message saying it cannot load the DLL file. It gives me further information the the name of the file is VEenLR3.hlp that is missing and i need to re-install it. Do I just need to reinstall Access to take care of this problem? thanks for the help! Amy

    Re: Missing help file

Do a search for VEenLR3 in the Start/find/files or folders to see if it's in a different directory.
If it's there the next time the message box shows up, it should ask you if you want to find it yourself.
Click OK and go to that directory. This establishes the path for all future uses. <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16>

That's the help file that contains the VBA language reference help, so you definitely need to track it down. It should be in C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedVBA, but if you have more than one version of Access installed, it may be in a different location.
