Appointments show up different on different PC (Outlook 2000 Sp-3)

Okay - this is a weird one. We have a public calendar that all members of our department can share. I have set an All Day Event for today, Oct. 20th on that public calendar and on my PC it shows up fine. However, if I login to our wireless laptop and check out that same calendar, the same appointment spans both Oct. 19th - October 20th from 11pm to 11pm. Any ideas what's happening here? I thought perhaps there was some setting off, so I went to Tools | Options on the laptop, but the settings on the laptop are just like the settings on my workstation. My only other guess would be that the computers time might be off? Perhaps the laptop is set to another time zone? I'll check that, but any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks all - Sat

Okay - solved my own problem. It was a time zone thing, sorta. In theory all of our computers should get their time from our network when they are logged on. And I was getting "thrown" by the fact that the time on my workstation and the time on the laptop were the exact same. However, upon further investigation, that tiny little setting on the laptop Time Zone that says "Adjust for daylight savings time" was NOT checked, so I guess technically the laptop was an hour behind us??? If I think about it too much, it makes my head hurt. But, after checking "Adjust for daylight savings time" and then getting back into the Public Calendar, all looked correct now. <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>
