Cc to self (Outlook 2002 SP-2)

What I would like to do is have Outlook automatically include my email address, when I respond to an email, as a Cc recipient. Does anyone have a suggestion of how to do this?

    Thanks,

    David

You could set up a rule that applies to all sent messages.

Go to Tools - Rules Wizard
Click on New... to create a new rule
Choose "Start with blank rule", "check messages after sending", then Next
Click Next again to apply this to all sent mail.
Check the box next to "Cc the message to people or distribution list", click on the blue hyperlink in the bottom box for "people or distribution list" and select your name.
Click Next until the rule has been created.

    I hope this helps,
    Becky

I just created a Rule to do this ... and it seemed to work for me ... here's a screen shot of the Rule ... note that the condition regarding using a particular Form ... is using the standard built-in Message form:

"bewens" reply was posted essentially at the same time as mine --- and I found out from that post that the condition of "uses the Message form" is not needed ... so you could (should) not check any of the condition boxes in the Rules Wizard.

    Enjoy!!!

I think the Rule approach is a good one. The other ways that come to mind are:

    (1) Customize your default message form: complicated, hard to apply to replies.
    (2) Use a VBA event procedure: much more flexible, but triggers macro security warnings.
