The following appears Clip Organiser cannot complete the operation. The specifed procedure could not be found. Error Code 0x8007007F. Even closing the product and opening the Clip Organiser leads to same problem. I can download clipart from the net but the same problem arises when trying to view it. Any help would be appreciated. Just a guess, but do you need the CD mounted before you can access Clip Art? (I went the full monty and installed all clip art on the hard drive.)

How was your version installed - as an upgrade to a previous version, or a clean install on an empty hard drive, or as an OEM version on a new PC?

This version was installed as OEM on a new PC, I have the CD as issued by Microsoft which included a seperate CD with a Business Contact Manager program on it. Hope this helps to resolve the problem!

Clip Organizer appears to be a "Shared Feature" of the Office 2003 installation. I'm guessing that your OEM install was a custom one, and that Clip Organizer wasn't included in the installation. You should be able to install it yourself through Add/Remove programs. Click on Office 2003 Professional Edition (or similar), and then Change. Click on "Advanced Features (or similar), which will give you a list of features. Find Clip Organizer, click on it and click Run from this Computer. Hope this helps. I haven't done this myself but I have installed some handwriting recognition tools this way (using the Beta 2 Refresh).

    Good luck

    Re: clipart office 2003 (11.5612.5606)

Thanks for the suggestion but no matter what I do I still get the error code 0x08007007F. The Run from this computer says Run from my Computer or alternatively Run all from my computer (this affects all programs and sub categories). There are 2 little dots to the right of Run all from my computer so I assume the shop that installed on this new computer set this as the default. Hence the two dots (maybe). nothing I have done so far has changed the dots from the Run all from my computer. So how then can I get the Add/Remove program Advanced features to changed from Run all from my computer to Run from my computer. Or is this the same thing and I need another solution.
    Please Help!

    Hi Glen:
I'm not familiar with the 2003 Office products. Howerver, I can tell you something about installation. When you install Office, there are various components & the CD is usually set up in an Explorer like tree that has various branches. "Run All from my computer" means to install everything from that branch onto your hard drive. "Run from my computer" merely installs the single item that you've clicked on. So if you have "Run All..." checked, you don't need to make changes.

However, I would expect far more branches than just two. If you expand all the branches, you should be able to see what is installed & what isn't. Perhaps you are missing some of the shared components.

Again, although I confess my ignorance of the SBE, you might also:
    1. Check for clipart by using Find/Files & folders....
    2. Then, open Word, go to Tools/Options/File Locations/ & make sure that the path to the clipart files is reflected there.

    Hope this helps,

Thank you for your input, unfortunately it did not resolve the problem. However, I did stumble across a solution eventually that resolved my dilemma even though it was for office 2000 and did not relate to my error Code . It worked for me! See Microsoft KB 827808. The work around was perfect. Thanks to all who contributed.
