Adjusting columns in text frames (2000 SP3)

I have started working in Publisher to do our newsletter, and when I put in a text box, and go to Frame Properties, it allows me to have columns, and I have chosen three. That is as I want it. However, in one part of the newsletter, I only want a particular text box frame to have two, and that is not a problem either, UNTIL I want the columns to be different in width. There seems to be no way to adjust that. I guess I could just work around it by putting in an additional text box, ..... but I was wondering if the ability to resize columns in text box frames has been added to the new versions?
thanks,
larry

Under the box where you can state the number of columns you want there is a box that lets you state the space between the columns. Using that and the adjustable text box margins above these boxes and then adjusting the text box size should let you do what you want. ??

Just my 2 cents worth.

Sorry can't help you with PageMaker But hear it too is a great program. Like most programs, the one you use the most will be your favorite!. We use Publisher to put out a ten page newsletter every month.

Have fun,
Mike

The problems I ran into with it are when you take your product to a printer, Publisher does not play well with others. So, I've been told by many in the printing industry that it is worth the time to learn PageMaker or Quark. Also, with a 10 page newsletter in Publisher, the file size must be incredibly large. I just took in a little four page one the other day and it was over 70 MB, and I've seen four page ones go over 100. .....what's that all about?????

Your right about the large file size!! but we do our own printing so it is not a problem. I heard they are trying to work on this problem in next release or so. ????!!!???!!!??!
