Reminder Defaults - Outlook 2000

    Hi Folks:

Is there a way to change the default reminder interval from 5 minutes to something else. I've read the posts that say you can't change the default dismiss option, but I'd at least like the default to be longer than "remind me again in 5 minutes" (My short term memory seems to be longer than those at Microsoft)

I think Phil means the re-reminder time - 'Remind me again in...'

If he doesn't, I'd very much like to know .

If you set it to (say) 'Remind again in 2 hours', it offers you '2 hours' again (after 2 hours). But if you close and open Outlook, it goes back to 5 mins...

right - that default can't be changed.

i wasn't really sure what he was asking since he said he knows the dismiss one can't be changed

    Hi Mary & Leif:

Sorry I wasn't clear. Yes, I was talking about the procrastinator--er, "re-reminder". Thanks for letting me know, I guess I guess I'll learn to live with it .
