Evergreen / Spectra (old news?)
I ordered and received a Spectra 400 upgrade processor from Evergreen in April, but it didn't fit the socket in my computer. Shortly thereafter their telephone was always busy, website didn't seem to work. I returned the processor by registered mail, requesting a refund, but never heard from them.
Anyone happen to know if they are permanently out of business?

Re: Evergreen / Spectra (old news?)
So far as I can tell, Evergreen Tech is still around and active. Their website was just updated today apparentely.
Check them out at EVERGREEN
Did you get a return receipt for the package after you sent it?
I would jump all over them right away and demand your money back.
I think that it's much easier today to just change the MB & CPU, which will also get the latest other features available with this type of upgrade, than just a pseudo-CPU upgrade like an Evergreen change-out. It really isn't that big a deal to replace the MB/CPU in todays' systems. <img src=/S/yawn.gif border=0 alt=yawn width=15 height=15>
Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
Today it is called golf!
